Mothers Day 2016 -

It's been awhile since I journal blogged. For some strange reason I found myself popping on this blog after working on some editing tonight around midnight and ended up going through some of my very old post. Wow, what special memories. I'm so glad I took the time to type some of those things we have been through. I started using an app called Instagram which is a photo type blog. But after reading some of my old post from this blog tonight, I remember why I started this, and it was for journaling. So there may be more frequent post on here, (more frequent than once a year at least!). Being mothers day today I think I always reminisce a bit. Mostly because I miss my beautiful Mother. But also because I like to be reminded of where we have been. I am so blessed to be the mother of these three beautiful girls. This past year has been a bit stressful with Brandon getting laid off over seven months ago, and not finding another job yet. Luckily my photography has filled in to help us through it. However it has added a lot of stress, where I know it takes away what patience I need to be a great mother. I am so thankful for every new day I am given to try again. I am so thankful for the little time I had my mom, while I was a mom here on this earth. I wish she was here often. I really don't have a lot of people close to give me advice, or to learn "motherly" things from. I actually pray often for that, and most likely its around me more than I know. I love my girls with all my being, I'm not sure who I would be without them, they make me whole. I love being a mother. As it is one of the most difficult things on this earth, it is also one of the most amazing. Beings that it is almost 1:00 and I have girls to get up and ready in the morning I'm going to cut this short. But I promise I will try a bit harder to pop on here and update with some actual journaling a bit more often.

First Day of School 2015

First day of Fifth, Second, and Kindergarten. All my babies are in grade school. What a strange day this was for me! 

Mommy and Me

I took the girls fall pictures today. In the last couple weeks I just really felt like I should include myself in a picture with each this time. Really tough for me to be infant of the camera. The girls are always telling me how pretty I am.....and I so wish I could see that when I looked in the mirror too! I'm my own worst critic in every aspect of my life. I'm trying to teach them self confidence and love for themselves. So I really need to work on that for me too I suppose! Love them with all my heart. They are absolutely everything to me. 

Our first Family Picture

As a photographer I am constantly telling my clients to not stress about all the little things with a family picture, to just get out and do it. I realized that I really needed to take my own advice. I got the tripod out and just did it! It was actually quiet the disaster, with Brandon, Teagan, and Taylee all having allergy attacks from the surrounding pollen, and Adalynn freaking out about who knows what, but before that happened, this pic was snuck in!

First Day of Preschool 2014

I'm not quiet sure where the last year has gone. Brandon brought up to me the other day that he use to follow a blog about some beautiful Moss girls but hasn't seen anything on it for a long time. This milestone in little Adalynn's life was a big one. My last little starting her educational life outside of home. She was more than ready. Saying goodbye to me before we even walked out the door. And getting very mad at me when I wouldn't take her a half hour early cause she was ready to be there. Her best little buddy Bentley is going to the same class this year too. I know she will have loads of fun!

Teagan's first day of Third grade, and Taylee's first day of Kindergarten. Taylee was so super excited and had a fantastic first day. She got in the car after school and first words out of her mouth were "that was fantastic! I had such a great day!". So glad she did I was a bit nervous about it. Teagan loved her new teachers and also had a great day. So thankful for a great school they get to attend with amazing teachers and staff.

Teagan I am so proud of your choice to get baptized. You were so excited for months and months about it. You were more excited about it then presents or a party. You are a kind loving girl. I know your Heavenly Father was proud of you to make your first covenant with him on this day too. Dad baptized and confirmed you. Grandpa Bitton, Grandpa Moss, Uncle David, Brother Light, Brother Butt, Brother Mcclane, and Bishop Wellard were in the circle to confirm you as well. It was a very emotional meeting, we felt so much love and support. The room was just packed of friends and family, we had to keep getting more chairs out as people arrived. What a wonderful day! Love you Teagan Evonne!

Teagans Second White Dress

Teagan was so excited for her baptism. More excited for it than almost anything this year. She got to wear my necklace from my wedding day on her baptism day as well. What a special little girl she is. She tries so hard to choose the right and do what is good.

Teagan's Candy Shop Party

Teagan was sad she wasn't very good at this game, turns out she had a hole in her straw!

I was so excited when Teagan said she wanted to have a candy party. What fun! Unfortunately the weather was so so so hot! I didn't get many good pictures of all the fun and cuteness because I had my hands full of 15 kiddos! We painted "candy" nails, guessed how many candies where in the jar and won the jar, decorated candy shop bags to put our candy in, sucked m&m's from cupcake liner to cupcake liner with a straw, had a bubble gum blowing contest, had to play with some water to cool down, and had sub sandwiches for dinner. Marcia had to leave early so she left me to finalize her cake, I'm afraid I didn't do her justice since my hands where so full! And this is the first year I didn't get a good picture of her cake :( The kids all loved the candy shop and getting their bags chuck full of candy! Including these great jars from Ikea full of bubblegum balls, so cute! Teagan is definitely my sweetie!
