South Dakota

Brandon and his BFF Todd Mcclain went on a hunting trip to South Dakota last week. They left at 3AM Wednesday morning and got home Sunday night. Brandon said the hunting was hard mainly because there were hunters every where you looked. South Dakota is famous for its Pheasants. He said it was neat being able to work his dogs in new country.

Todd and his family have been so wonderful to us, they are undeniably our guardian angels. I am so grateful for the friendship he offers to Brandon!

I do absolutely love watching Brandon's dogs hunt. Not sure if you can see them to well in this picture. There is one up front pointing, and two behind it "backing" its point. It is just so awesome to see.

I love everything about this picture, this farmer has an easement to use this road for his tractor to drive THROUGH the cemetery to get to his field!

Dressing up is fun to do to do

The girls got to wear their costumes three nights. Friday to the ward Halloween party. They had trunk or treat, games, chili dinner, and lots of treats. Saturday to Teagans school party. My heavens, I have never seen such a fancy school party. They literally transformed the school into a haunted place of fun! And Sunday to trick or treat at old neighbors, friends, and Grandma and Grandpa Moss's.

Pumpkins

Carving pumpkins is so much fun. We usually get together with the Moss family and do them. This year everyones schedules were to busy. So we had a blast at home. I LOVE fresh roasted pumpkin seeds. The girls had fun drawing their faces on the pumpkins. Brandon tried to carve them as close as he could to their drawings.

Teagan do it byself

Teagan was absolutely determined to get her own pumpkin top off. She pulled, and tugged, and pulled, and tugged for about ten minutes. Not wanting help. When Teagan was little little she use to always say "Teagan do it byself". It just goes to show their little personalities develop so young, and stay with them. Teagan has great determination.

My new challenge!

Our Bishop knows of our financial struggle and extended the opportunity to watch his grandchildren. His son's family just moved back here from back east. Both him and his wife are going back to work. So they need daycare for their three boys. There is Roman who just turned four, Joel who is almost two, and Rhys who is almost one. Last week was my first week and it was tough! Toward the end of the week I came down with an awful cold so it didn't help. Luckily Brandon had taken Friday off. He was brave enough to take all five kids out for several hours!

I have my hands more than full as kids are on opposite nap times, Rhys is still eating baby food and hardly any finger foods, diapers, keeping them entertained with all different levels of interest, etc. Unfortunately Roman isn't yet interested in anything interactive, so the days go by slow with hundreds of questions about cars, the same ones over and over! It will be an adjustment period for all of us for awhile. Hopefully I can get it to work at least through the next couple few months. Its hard staying at home, I'm use to a lot more freedom that I really took advantage of. Its tough not paying the 100% attention to my girls that I am use to. I am glad though we have this opportunity to help their family out, and in turn help ours out financially as well.

PS. The big owwy on Joel's head was one he got here at our house the first day he came! He fell down the bottom two steps of the outside stairs and landed on his head just right. I felt awful! Hey here's your kid....honestly I did watch him closely today!

Nine Months

I am having a hard time getting nine month pictures that I love of this little sweetie. She is sleeping when I get most of the good light. She is so fun and full of looks! She is almost nine months old here. She is loving standing up and pulling herself up onto anything she can. She loves to cuddle and hug. She still smiles at most strangers but has started to have a bit of stranger anxiety to some people. I Love my little Addy!

Field Trip

Teagan went on her first field trip last Friday. She talked and prayed about it non stop for over a week. She was mostly excited to get to ride the bus. They went to a play at the Alberta Bear Theater. She thought the funniest part of the play was the bunny held up his big underwear. Next week they have another field trip to the pumpkin patch.

Mr. Dude

Mr. Dude has spoken, and taken his place as lead rooster. He cracks me up! The girls love him. He has to show his leadership to them at times. The other day he charged Teagan a couple of times. She wasn't sure what to think of it. Its mostly funny because he is so darn small! Pets are so fun. We are loving the chickens.
