We took another try up at the campground at Red Lodge on Saturday. The weather was just beautiful. The camp host had told Larry and Marcia about a lake we could go fish. They were told the trail was about a 1/2 mile. Wrong......try a mile and a quarter! Luckily it was a gorgeous hike. We saw all kinds of moose droppings, bear hair, even mountain lion tracks. I was glad Brandon had his gun on him!
Taylee was packed up on Brandon's shoulders which would have been fine except for she wanted mom the whole time and let us all know about it. Before we left the jeep Brandon asked if we should grab a diaper and I said we should be fine since she had just been changed about a half hour before. So sure enough two minutes after we arrive at the lake Taylee stinks up her diaper. So Brandon cut off part of his tee shirt to makeshift some wipes, and a "diaper" for her. What a good Dadda. Of course he made it known that he had asked before we left the jeep if we needed a diaper. I'm wrong sometimes your wrong sometimes, right?
Anyway the fishing was fun. We all caught a few and let a couple go. Not huge fish, just fun to catch. We had a nice time with Danas family and Grandma and Grandpa.
Oh yeah the big catch!

Teagan is the biggest "girl". She will not touch the worms, she is squirmy around the fish. Look at the look she is giving the thing, like its going to jump out of Brandon's hands and eat her or something!

Taylee is not afraid to touch anything. Fish, worms....whatever. Look at her snoop at what Brandon has in his hands. She just wants to be in the middle of it all.

In Memory

Thursday marked one year since Mom passed away. It was an emotional week thinking about the events that occured this same time last year. Dad had sent an email for anyone who wanted to, to join him in letting balloons off at the time she passed. Teagan is actually wearing a little pillowcase dress that Mom had gotten her.
I really wish that I could say I was celebrating her life on that day, but there is still so much hurt in my heart for her loss. I really do miss every beautiful thing about her. However I am so glad she is healthy, happy, and reunited with her other loved ones now. And so thankful for the promises I have been given that we will be together again someday too.

Day Trip

We went up to Red Lodge to spend the day last weekend. We were originally planning to spend the evening too until it rained cats and dogs. We got a few hours up there to enjoy being outside though. Brandon might get mad when he sees I posted this picture. But maybe it will teach him to let me take a normal picture every once in awhile?

Summer Is Here!

Yeah somebody finally turned on summer! We took a trip to Pioneer Parks wading pool to cool off this week. I'm the brain that always ends up wondering why I didn't wear my swimsuit. Oh well!
Teagan is a little occupied with trying to go under water right now. She seriously does it the majority of her bath time. She's quite particular about getting water in her eyes though, hence the goggles.

Poky Peacock

We joined the community playgroup we occasionally attend on Thursday for their annual trip to the Zoo. Free admission, can't beat that! Our Zoo is more of a nature walk, with a tiger, panda, otters, and bear, plus a few animals here and there. Teagan was particularly interested in the Peacocks this trip. She was quite fascinated by them. This is due to her Barbie Island Princess Movie I'm sure. One of the peacocks was hanging around when we were having our picnic lunch. He decided that Teagans peanut butter and jelly sandwich looked yummy, he strutted over and almost snatched it right out of her hand! I got a shot of his head as I was pulling her sandwich away. What a hoot! Regardless of the amount of animals our Zoo has the kids always have fun.

Common Sense

Last night I was looking at a gospel art book with Teagan. I would ask her if she knew what the picture was and then we would talk about it a little bit. We got to a couple of pictures of people being baptised. I asked her what they were doing. "They are getting bathtized". Too sweet.
