Girls Holiday Pics 2011

I can't believe how hard it is to get a good shot of all three! Someday I'll get smart and just purchase some chairs for props!

Our First Fake

Our first fake tree! Money is tight so when a friend said they knew somebody downsizing and giving away a tree I said sure why not? I don't think I have EVER had a fake tree. Dad always cut them down growing up, and we have always had a real one since I've been married. So it is different, but still nice.

Tay's Joy School Party

To finish Joy School's semester we had a party at our house. I couldn't get the three boys to get in the picture! They had a gift exchange, made a snack mix to serve at their family program, made ornaments for their parents, decorated snack bags, had free play time, and watched Rudolph and ate snacks. They are a hand full and it really is a lot of work...but Taylee absolutely loves doing it so I'll hang in there for another semester!

Taylee's Joy School Programs

It was my month to teach Taylee's Joy School and it was a busy one. The unit included Thanksgiving and Christmas. They learned about the joy of service and giving. They made cards and practiced and presented songs to the Nursing home where one of the kids Great Grandma's is residing. It was a fun experience for them, they did great! The one mother home schools her 5 boys, so a few of them participated in it as well. I also set up a parents and family program that turned out really sweet too. But forgot my camera by the time I had everything else there. I'm very proud of Taylee, she is a very loving little lady. She does a good job at sharing, and looking out for others needs.

Pickles And Waffles

Tay wanted pickles and waffles for her birthday breakfast, why not???

Girls Expo

A few weekends ago I took the girls to the Girls Expo hosted by the Girl Scouts. There was a ton to do there. Fly fishing, pottery painting, rock necklace making, face painting, yoga, dancing, karate, target shooting, and lots more. We didn't get through it all because Adalynn was being a stinker. These pictures are the girls waiting their turn for target shooting.

Toothless

Teagan is loosing her teeth left and right! Her new teeth are coming in right behind. Her one front tooth cap was loose for a couple of weeks. When we were at Albertsons one evening I was tickling her and she bonked her face into the check stand counter and knocked it loose. There was quiet a bit of blood, I think it freaked out the cashier! When she got home Grandpa bribed her to finish pulling it out with a dollar, she was game and it came out like a cinch!

My Tiny Turkey

This sweet little lady is such a delight! She's growing way to fast. The holidays are fun with kids of all ages, but I especially love this age, where they are at last old enough to understand some of it, and take it all in.

Animal Lover

Teagan is such an animal lover. She has a very natural love for all animals. She loved having the puppies around. They have come and gone already!

Scrub A Dub

Yes she loves the bath, this isn't the first time this has happened either!

Happy Birthday Taylee

Four Big Ones! Taylee had her first friend party and it was a blast! It was the first friend birthday party I've had at our house. We had 12 little princesses running around. The theme was Tangled and it was a blast to do! If only I had more money and more time! They colored Tangled coloring pages as they arrived. Then we made Pascal (Rapunzels Lizzard friend) party blowers. We had pizza, bread sticks, jello cups with the boat from the scene where Flynn sails away on the movie, and Maximus shared his apples with the girls. Then we played pin the frying pan on Flynn Ryder, opened presents, and had cake. Grandma Marcia made a fun tower cake. It was fun watching Tay at her party, it was a lot of attention and fun for her.

On her birthday we had a family party and invited Grandpa and Grandma Moss over since Taylee and Grandpa moss have the same birthday. We had one of Taylees favorites alfredo pasta, bread, shrimp scampi, and asparagus! Her Birthday list cracked me up this year. She wanted a watch, a belt, makeup, and a head (one of those heads you do the dolls hair up on).

Tay is still honory and feisty as ever. I love every ounce of her little being! I am so thankful for her sweet little spirit.

Counting Down to Sweet Sixteen with Morgan

It was hard for me not being able to go and share Morgans Sweet Sixteen Birthday with her later this month, so I decided to make a countdown to the big day for her. I sent it in a package to Judie with instructions on what to do for each day. Each day has a fun gift or treat with a cute saying, some of them of her favorites like cereal, gum, candy, sent of lotion, others just kind of random, and others things I thought would be nice for her to have or focus on It was a lot of work getting it together and out on time but I now can feel a little more included in her special day! I can't believe she is almost 16!

Things To Remember

I hope I won't ever forget how innocent these sweet ladies really are, I hope I remember their passion for adventure and play, I hope I don't forget their natural love they have for me at this age. I hope I never forget how much the little things they say and do make my heart smile.

Adalynn / The cutest Ghost I ever did see!

She is still at the age where I get to pick what she wears so I chose a ghost for my little Ady, and she was just as cute as can be! She loved every minute of our Halloween parties, and festivities. After trick or treating we went down Poly where they have several streets in the neighborhood blocked off because the neighborhoods put on such a show. There are several homes that host free haunted houses (that someday we will have kids old enough to actually see the insides of) extreme costumes, people walking down the streets in costumes that have stilts, and chainsaws, and lit up robots.....tons of things to just take in! Anyway I held her the whole time, it was really cute when she saw something that scared her a bit or she wasn't so sure of her little thighs and arms would just tighten up around me and she would follow whatever it was with her eyes wide open. Too fun, I love Halloween!

Teagan / Butterfly Princess

Teagan wanted to be a monarch butterfly for Halloween this year. I searched over 12 stores for actual monarch wings, these are the closest I came and she was happy with them! I had a friend from church that was going to help me make her and Adalynns costumes, but ended up just doing it all for me, they turned out great, Teagan was really happy with it!

Tay Tay / Rupunzel

Taylee was Rapunzel for Halloween. The wig was worth every second of work I put into it. At our church Halloween party the there was a train of little girls all holding her hair running around giggling, it was so darling! She won the costume award there for junior primary costume.
