Teagans Talk

Photobucket

Jesus Christ is My Redeemer

He was once a child just like me. He had a body with arms and legs

He grew up and was strong in spirit

Jesus loves us. He has always loved little children.

The Bible says that He “took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them”

Jesus took the sacrament with His disciples to show us its important. He said, “This do in remembrance of me”

Every Sunday at church I get to take the sacrament to help me remember Him

One day Jesus told His friends that He was going away. He told them to remember Him and to love everyone.

Jesus knew what was going to happen to Him.

He told the people who believed in Him that on the third day after wicked men had Him killed, He would live again

And He did live again when the third day came

He went to those he loved. He showed them nail prints in his hands and feet

I am happy that I can remember today that Jesus is the true meaning of Easter. Jesus lives, and because of him I can live again some day too.

I believe in him and I love him.

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was great. Teagan gave a talk at church and did an excellent job. It was such a great day to reflect on our Savior and his atonement. I am so thankful for him. I know he suffered for me personally. I know he loves me, and I love him with all my soul.

Sunday evening we went over to the Butt families home for dinner and yet another egg hunt. They have been a saving grace to me! Its so nice to finally be growing into a much needed support network of great people. I forgot the camera at home so no Sunday pictures at all! I plan on getting pictures of the girls in their dresses later this week though!

Family Easter

Saturday night we had Grandpa and Grandma Moss over for dinner. Dana's family was off in Big Sky at a cabin for the weekend. We had a really nice dinner. I cooked my first ham. We did an egg hunt here at home for Grandpa and Grandma Moss to watch too.

I love the thrill kids get from an egg hunt. It is just so sweet and innocent. What a simple concept for a ton of fun! We are lucky to have the Walkers and the Butt family as friends. What a great way to spend Saturday afternoon. As you can see from Adalynn's pictures she didn't get to far on finding eggs. After about the third one she plopped down and started eating away! She was content!

We got together with a couple of friends from church for coloring eggs and an egg hunt Saturday afternoon. The weather was beautiful. The kids had a great time coloring eggs.

Homework

Just doing some "homework" from my photography class. Only three more Tuesday nights left!

Friday

Friday before Easter we woke up to several inches of snow. It was super wet and the sun started shining late late afternoon and melted it super fast. We really were wondering what our Easter weekend weather the next day was going to be like!

Overnighter

This picture cracks me up! Take after their dad on this one!

Grandma & Grandpa Moss treated us to an overnight stay in some cabins over in Columbus. We all rode over together in the big blue beast for a night to just get away. The cabins were right off the side of the road so not my cup of tea. But the girls had a blast! Our cabin had a bunk bed for them so they had fun eating and watching movies on the top bunk. We went out exploring the river and collected some fun rocks and driftwood. Makes me itch to get away for some real camping!

I'm trying to take my pictures with what I'm learning in my photography class. Its tough when you have to set everything on your own. I have a list of wants to make things a bit easier but will need to earn some $ first to purchase it! And trying to figure things out with an unwilling model didn't help much either. I plan on trying again after Easter with her new Easter outfit. For now here's what I have to sink your taste buds into!

Lewis

Tay Tay's got a new buddy! She fell in love with this little black guy. We have been talking about getting her a bunny for some time now. There were several others at the store that I think had beautiful coloring etc, but she was stuck on him! So here's the newest member of the family. Meet Lewis!

Good Ol Chuckies

Kate and I always hit the thrift stores on the west end. Its fun treasure hunting together. I absolutely love having someone to shop with. I miss shopping with mom so so much. Anyway we hit Chucky Cheeses so the kids could have a break between stores. Too soon they will outgrow this place.

Circus

We took the kids to the circus Thursday night. Its always fun to watch. They loved the live animals especially the tigers and dogs. Lots of fun worth the money for sure.

The Age?

Photobucket

Every day I get exhausted by my Tay Tay. She is busy, honry, stubborn, and doesn't listen worth a darn. She is a handful! However this little Oliver dude is more than two hands full! Spending a few days seeing exactly how busy a three year old is capable of being opened my eyes a bit. These two rascals have years of trouble together ahead of them I'm sure. Maybe if we are lucky though its just the age????

Grandpa Bitton

Yeah for Grandpa Bitton. Thanks for taking the time to come see us. We love you very much!

Simply Delicious!

Within minutes of Kate and Dad getting her we were back out the door to an auction. Brandon stayed home with all the kiddos. I got a great old kitchen scale and this great trunk. I couldn't wait to try it out!

Spring Break Visitors

We were LUCKY to have Kate and her kids and Grandpa Bitton come to visit for a few days of spring break. I didn't hesitate to take Teagan out of school for a couple of days to spend time with family. It was just nice to be together. The kids got along great. It was so great to have Kate and Dad here too. I always love the time I get to spend with Kate she always teaches me so much about being a mother just by her example. And its always nice to be close to Dad. He always fixes something when he comes its appreciated by me so much. I wish we all lived closer!

More Visitors

We had a some pretty nasty wind when Kate and Dad were here visiting. It blew down a fence down the way and these horses came mozing up our road. Kind of random? Everyone got to get up on one before the Sheriff came to help find their owners.

These two cuties were just a joy to watch together. Its fun seeing what the age difference of a few months makes at this age, and how they can be so alike too. They definitely have their own unique personalities. Someday I'm sure they will be great friends!

These girls are such good friends it melts my heart. They play so well together and love each other whole hearted. It was fun watching them play and build on their friendships again!

Don't pinch Ada she doesn't have her green on yet!

St. Patricks day was fun as always. Brandon was home from work so I got to go to Teagan's school and eat lunch with her. Apparently a leprechaun had snuck into her classroom at recess and messed the room up and left gold candy coins. A leprechaun had also came by our house the night or morning before and hid gold coins all over the house. Teagan wants to make a trap next year. She also wants to leave him a letter to ask him if he is the same guy every year, and if so what his name is. Fun stuff!
