My Little Fairy in the Second Coming

Teagan informed me today that when she comes back to life when Jesus comes that she wants to come back as a fairy........ok time to get some facts straight! But gosh its nice to think of a world with Teagan fairies!

Cookie Booth

I was lucky enough to land a spot at Walgreens for our troops cookie booth. We set up right next to the Red Box movie rentals. The morning was super chilly, but it warmed up to be a beautiful day. The girls and one leader would go to the corner on main street and wave signs etc, the girls loved that part of it. Teagan sat there on the corner in the grass waving at people and then doing a cartwheel, waving and doing a few cartwheels over and over, it was pretty cute. She thought it was fun because she had "never done anything like this before!". They sold all but five boxes of Tagalongs!

The Girls First Gun

Well one crazy mother couldn't pass up on the bright pink Daisy bb gun half off at tractor supply. So two young girls have their first gun. Of course they won't lay a finger on it without Brandon right next to them. Luckily they have a great teacher (aka dad) to help them be safe, and good with it!

"Leprechaun Day"

Taylee and Teagan have it stuck in their heads that St. Patrick's Day is indeed called "Leprechaun Day". And I guess that is because they look forward to his surprise visit to our house every year. Sometimes he comes in the middle of the night, sometimes while we are out during the day, sometimes he's been extra sneaky and comes while we are home. He hides the girls chocolate coins and they have a ball finding them. Teagan woke up early Saturday morning searching for coins, but he hadn't come yet! We met some friends at the St. Patricks Day parade downtown, got some lunch, came home and enjoyed the sunshine outside. And of course enjoyed green food for breakfast, and corn beef and cabbage for dinner.

Disney On Ice

We have a good friend Don Vandra who sent our whole family tickets for Disney On Ice, and on top of sending the tickets his wife decided we couldn't go without a little spending cash so they sent that as well. The girls each got a treat and a souvenir which if you have ever been to one of these deals you know how ridiculously priced things are. The girls loved it. It was a fantastic show! They were just in heaven!

Oh Joy School!

Oh Joy School. I am very glad Taylee has the opportunity to learn and grow with a great bunch of kiddo's. However I am not so glad for all the work it ends up being sometimes! Mostly on my day's of teaching when Taylee decides to be the biggest stinker she can possibly be, and it makes it tough. But I suppose it is worth the in between smiles and giggles, and the Joy's she is learning about. This day the kids were learning about having courage to try new things. We "painted" with shaving cream. Some of the kids loved the new things, some of them wouldn't have a thing to do with them. Tay was up for it all.

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

Dr. Seuss's Birthday in my book is definitely great reason to celebrate. He has given us and our children so many wonderful gifts. Uplifting thoughts, helping us laugh, imagine, and grow to be just plain better! Teagan was so excited about her Dr. Seuss lunch and I had a lot of fun making it. She also brought fish and oreo hats for her classroom to share. We ate green eggs and ham for dinner and watched Horton Hears a Who. Thank you Dr. Seuss for so much inspiration!
