Spray Time

We've been to two different spray park a couple of different times now this summer. It is such a great place to take the girls at this age. I'm watching Haylee (a girl from our ward) while her mother works during the day. She is the baby of her family and her personality is a little high maintenance but the girls love having her around and it brings in a little extra cash so it works!

After The Rain

When I've gone through trials, many of them at a time, My sister Katie has stated that there is going to be a beautiful rainbow at the end of it all waiting for me. And that is in fact God's promise. Easy to forget when you get rained out day after day at times. But it can give me just enough peace in the storm to know there will be something beautiful at the end of it all!

Brandon called and asked me what was for dinner one night last week. "Grilled burgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, and watermelon" I answered. "Summer stuff" he replied. Yep its that time of the year, although we haven't had any scorching hot days, we've had a few nice enough days to enjoy in some of the simple treats of sweet summer time! Thank goodness for summer time I love it!

Inside

We've had to stick inside so much lately because of the tremendous amount of rain the area has gotten. This day the girls were taking advantage of a slow day at home. Crafts and dress up, what more could a girl want? And what more could a mom want, occupied girls means time to get things done!

Whats a party without a cupcake?

We had a little party to jump start summer vacation. I wanted to have one at the park with Teagan's friends but it has just rained and rained so we didn't get a chance. I made these great rainbow cupcakes, they didn't turn out as perfect as the picture on the recipe but the girls loved them, especially Ada! We also went to the indoor water slide park the Reef, it was a blast! Its been nice having my Teagan home again during the day.

No More Pappoo!

Yeah for Taylee, she finally decided she would give up her pacifier. She has only been using it while she sleeps for some time now. A couple of weeks ago she decided she wanted a camera worse than her pappoo. So she put it out for the moon to take, and he brought her a camera in exchange...messy moon left moondust all over! It was pretty rough for her with out it for about a week, but shes past it now. Good riddens!

Tay and Her Big Bike

Tay decided it was high time to hope of the trike and is loving her hand me down from Teagan. It has this little bell on it and she rings it everytime she rides.

A Mothers Prayer

I was thinking on Mothers Day about how my prayers for my girls have "evolved". They use to be a lot more general and basic, for their well being and health. As they get older my prayers are changing for their individual personalities, wants, and my worries for each of them are much more individual. I know my mother prayed earnestly for me, every day. I know she prayed for each of her children extensively every day. We were on her mind constantly. Her prayers and faith were so strong. I know because of her faith I am where I am today.

With all the tough times I go through I miss her being there, knowing right where she was, knowing that constant support was right there in my grasp. Knowing she was my advocate always. I miss her so much and sometimes it hurts so bad... its just an awful pain. Brandon said he doesn't think a Mothers Prayer ends here on Earth, he thinks a mother will always pray for her children...I hope that's true, that it is possible for a mothers prayer to reach through the Heavens........
