Keller Cousins

Kates kids were just a blast to be around. They are such a sweet little family. She is a great mother and an awesome Aunt!

Mo Mo

Morgan is growing into such a beautiful young woman. We went over and spent the night with her on Thursday and Saturday. Thursday we went to see her new school and listened to her sing with her choir. Saturday she came up with Judie to decorate graves and then we followed them back to Spokane. Teagan had gotten sick so Judie stayed home with her while she rested and Morgan, Taylee and I did our ritual shopping trip to the mall. Poor Morgan had some pretty serious finals coming up and was really stressed out about doing well on them. It sounds like she is adjusting well in her new school and has made some good friends. Its always special to spend time with her and get to know her more personally.

Daddy

It was great to get over and see Dad. He had surgery the week before I got there so he was still recovering his energy. But spite this he was still motivated and ready to go as always. I love how he always has had such a determination to get out and do things regardless of his health and situation. He was recovering rather well until he caught the icky flu bug that Teagan had caught while over there. Luckily he only had it for a little more than a day. We got to go to the temple and do a bunch of cealings together as well. It was neat to see the Spokane temple and some of the people Dad serves with there. He is such a great guy, I'm so lucky to have him in my life. The time spent together is never enough!

Trip with the Girls

I had a great trip with the girls even though they were a handful and grumpy a majority of the time! I really enjoyed the time together. Its was lots of fun to be able to take them to some of the great places in Sandpoint. There are so many nice places for kids there. Teagan just had a blast on her trip. She was very good with Taylee on the trip. These pictures where taken at Talachee. Its such a beautiful place, it was a very relaxing day.

Good Friends

Teagan and her Cousin India are the best of friends. They get along so well (for kids!). Teagan got to spend some extra time with India because she came to stay with us at Grandpas house for two nights. It was so great having them spend that time together.

Memorial

We drove over to Sandpoint and were able to be there on Memorial Day to decorate Mom's grave. It is actually a very peaceful place to be. Unfortunately Teagan came down with a flu bug that day and ended up throwing up at our picnic afterwards. But I'm still so glad we could be there. Her flowers looked beautiful just like she was!

The Sweetest Of The Sweet

She truly was the most loving and caring individual that I have ever associated with. I am so thankful for the things she has done for me, and for what an amazing mother she was to us. I love and miss her dearly. Happy Mothers Day Sweetie~

Puppy Love

We have a litter of pups for sale right now. They are at such a cute stage, once you get someone to come see them they usually go home with one! Teagan and Taylee have a lot of fun with them. Taylee just sits and giggles watching them, even if they are jumping up on her and trampling her. Brits really are great family dogs.

What is shy?

Teagan's primary singing debut was yesterday for Mothers Day. She was so excited to go up on the "stage" during church. And of course when it was time to go up there, no hesitation. Brandon's parents came to our ward for Sacrament and they both commented on her lack of shyness. What else should I have expected everything she does screams "NOT SHY".
She's acquired this crooked smile lately, it is so peculiar, but also so sweet!

Peace in My Soul

Teagan has just been whining over every little thing lately. And quite frankly it has been exhausting to all of us. I was talking to a friend about it last night and she mentioned how its funny that we just cant wait for our children to talk and then when they do, we sometimes wish they didn't. I got to thinking about it and realized that with all of Teagans not so nice things that come out of her mouth lately, the few sweet little things she says makes up for all the other nonsense. Lucky for her (and the rest of the household) this helps me find a way to keep insane!
Children have so much natural love in their hearts, I think it is truly beautiful. They also hold another important attribute in their heart, humor. I've mentioned to Brandon a lot lately how little Taylee has such a cute little sense of humor, its too sweet how young they develop their little personalities.
With all the added stress with our house situation I've found it hard to take things so lightly lately. However there are some things that you just can't help smiling about regardless of how stressed out you are. For example today We were listening to our Elizabeth Mitchell CD. The song My Soul Has Peace Like a River was playing. Teagan sang along with it " I have to pee like a river in my soul". See I even laughed again when I typed that! So anyway I'm resolving to be more mindful and thankful for the good things that come out of her mouth that bring sunshine and peace to my soul, its really safer.... I mean better for everyone
