Locks Of Love

Teagan was finally able to get in to do Locks For Love. She has been growing her hair out patiently for quiet some time now. She was so excited. We had some shopping to do afterwards and every store we went into she had to tell the sales people or whomever she came into contact with the she did "loven locks". Its going to take me awhile to get use to her with short hair, its been long for so long. I'm very proud of her for doing such a sweet thing and hanging in there through our hot hot summer this year with her long hair. Way to go Teagan!

Tay's First Day of Bright Beginnings Preschool

Tay started preschool this past week  at Bright Beginnings Preschool. She was so excited but also nervous. When I dropped her off she was so anxious looking around at all her new friends that she would barely look at me for a picture. She had a fabulous first day, came home singing and talking all about her first day. She was talking about it all night and all the next day. I'm thankful to be able to have the opportunity to send her. I think preschool is invaluable because it is such a peak of an important learning time in their lives. I'm very proud of you Taylee I know you will be a great preschooler!

Grasshopper Camping

Brandon's family has camped at Grasshopper campground since he was a baby. It is their yearly tradition to camp there for Labor Day. We've missed a couple Labor Days so it was especially nice to be up there this time. The weather has been so hot in Billings, the cool down up there felt sensational. Marcia and Larry camped for almost a week up there. We spent three nights and four days, and Dana came up Sunday night and spent a day. Brandon's long time family friends the Eriksons also came up for a couple of nights so we had a lot of good company.

We went fishing in the surrounding streams, went and looked at Elk, and other wild life, went into town to the hot springs, shot the bb gun, and ate lots of yummy camp food. We spent a lot of time in the campground, the girls had fun with crafts like the boats we made, decorated rocks, and made nature fairies. Its always nice to be closer to mother nature. I brought a camera book I've been wanting to read and practice, but didn't get to even take a look at it because I was so busy with my girlies. It really is a lot of work with young kids, but also a lot of fun.

Safety First

Boats

We made some fun boats to float down the stream in our camp and had boat races, how fun!

Branon's First Blue Grouse

After 22 years of hunting Brandon had an opportunity to shoot his first Blue Grouse while we were camping. He headed out early in the morning to let the dogs out to run and came on these by chance. Poor Kershie is getting so old its tough to see sometimes.

Fish On

This is one of our favorite little fishing holes up where we camp at Grasshopper up towards White Sulpher. Its actually "Grandma's Hole", but she's nice enough to share. The girls do pretty well at creek fishing with the help of dad. Even Adalynn fished this time around.
