First Harvest

Whoo Whoo! My first pickns from the garden! Red and White Radishes. It has been so fun to watch everything grow! We have been so lucky so far with all this crazy weather, things still seem to be growing ok. I love to hear the girls pray for our garden it is so sweet. We have lettuce ready to pick as well. The herbs are beautiful. Teagan and I cut off some mint today to put in our water and it was so refreshing and yummy! Teagan loves all the ladybugs in the garden but she has a hard time leaving them in there. Not sure what they are good for, but I know Dana actually went and bought some from a greenhouse last year for something in her garden. It is a learning experience for sure, some things we will do different next year. But for now we will continue to work together in it and enjoy it!

Five Years Young

My little sweetie is five. We went to McDonalds for breakfast. We went to Lake Elmo for swimming and sand castle fun. We had some of her favorites for dinner, salad, shrimp, and corn on the cob. I bought this dinky horse cake from Walmart because she loved it! For presents she got a play guitar from Grandpa Bitton, a pogo stick from the Kellers, A little Pegasus horse from the Lockharts, princess Polly pockets from Jezabel, a beautiful necklace from Taylee, a digital camera and pink ugly stick fishing pole from Mom and Dad. We also took her and Taylee to build a bear the next day for a special birthday surprise. I had a coupon so at least Taylee's bear was free. She was super happy about that. We still have yet to celebrate her birthday with the Moss family because Grandma Moss has been sick. Teagans friend party is this Friday at Hawthorne Park/Wading pool!
My sweet girl is so smart! She is a handful but I wouldn't have her any other way. She has such a good heart. She has a good sense of the world around her. She has a pretty hard time sharing and understanding Taylee, I hope someday she will outgrow this and they will get a long better, in the mean time she says she is still her best friend anyway. She loves little Adalynn. Adalynn loves her big sister. Teagan can get her to smile almost anytime she wants. She is a big help around the house. She loves princesses still. A few of her favorite things are dress up, Polly pockets, horses, playing with animals, fishing, camping, jewelry, and church. As I watch her grow everyday I am so proud of her sweet spirit. I love you sweet Teagan!

Daddio

I got to spend a little bit of time with Dad. Its really never enough. I think he has really done better than I would have ever expected this past couple of years since mom died. He has changed, so have each and every one of us though. I'm so glad he is around to rest my heart on though. He would give anything to help those around him. He doesn't take a second thought at sharing what he has. He spends endless hours on the computer, at the church, and at the temple on Genealogy. He spends hours on all of his various callings. I love and appreciate him so much

City Beach

I always love our trip to the city beach. The sand is so clean, the water is clean, the seagulls are always near for a quick chase, plus there are several lifeguards on duty. The weather warmed up just perfectly for our day.

Round Lake

We went fishing at round lake on the fifth. The weather was a little sunny and a little rainy. Only a couple of the kids caught fish because some young teens decided to dive in right next to our fishing. It was one of my favorite days because we got to spend some time with Chris, he is always nice to be around. Oliver decided to take a jump into the water off the dock. Chris was in to save him instantly so that was the end of that day! Thank goodness the little dude was ok, he is seriously fearless!

Fourth Celebration

Love this shot, calling all trouble makers!

First Fourth Of July for the two little misses!

We all went to Judie's on Sunday to celebrate the Fourth. It was nice to see her new home. Todd was there too so it was really nice seeing him too. Their home is just darling, beautiful inside and out, I'm glad they found somewhere so perfect. John will be retiring this fall so he will be keeping busy at home and with Morgan.

Cousin Mo Mo

Judie was nice enough to pick up Morgan and bring her over to Kates to visit for a couple of hours on the Fourth. It was good to see her. She has grown up so much this past year I can hardly believe it. She will be going into High School this year yipes. I love and miss her and always cherish the little time we spend together.

Teagans Birthday Part 1

Teagan is lucky enough to have a party with her cousins every year we visit. How things worked out we ended up doing it on the third with all the other festivities this year.

The Kellers gave her a pogo stick, EXACTLY what she wanted. She was super excited about it.

More Fun

After Party

Taylee's Bubble

After the parade we went out to Dads for fun and food. We had BBQ lunch and afterwards the kids got to have some fun competitions. Including pillow races, Jello Slurping, Ring Toss, and Bubble Gum blowing. It was super fun watching them all try their best and having fun while they did it. They were all winners and got itty bitty trophies filled with candy after they were all done.

Big Parade

Always a blast to watch the Big Parade as well. There are a lot of the same things in it year after year, which the kids actually look forward to or not like Bob's loud fire car. No candy passed out this year though! Its a fun way to see how the town is growing. I think Taylee had her ears covered about 85% of the parade, she's so dramatic at times.

Kiddie Parade

By far one of my favorite parts of our Idaho trip every year, the kiddie parade. I just love watching the girls participate. They like to feel a part of something big like that! This year Teagan, India, and Lily walked together holding a sign. I walked holding Taylees hand while holding a sign with Austin. Oliver rode his motorcycle, and the Lockhart kids decorated scooters and a trike. Teagan, Lily, and India were pictured in the front page of the newspaper. Taylee had her usual scowl while walking in the parade I overheard several onlookers make comments such as "oh look at that one, she looks like she's having a great time". Good ol Taylee and her faces!

Mud Hole

After the Priest River Park Kate and I took our kids to the Priest River "Mud Hole". Its an awesome little beach. The weather was a little on the iffy side, but the kids still had fun. Taylee was loving the dirt making pie for me. Teagan was just loving being with her cousins. It was actually little Ady's first trip to the beach, I didn't even get her swimsuit on, all the same though since the water was a little cold for her anyway.
