I Miss You

This picture was taken just before I headed out of my parents house for a Mothers Day visit. This was the last time I saw my Mother outside of the hospital. Today marks two years since she died. And I miss her more than ever. She had such a beautiful heart. I hope someday I can have the patience for my children as she did hers. I hope I can have love and compassion for all as she did. I'm so thankful for her support and so thankful that I know families can be together forever. I'll try hard to make sure I get to be with you again, I miss and love you so much Momma!

Tornado

There are some really neat pictures people got of the tornado yesterday. It seriously looks like something out of a movie, not something you would expect to see five miles down the road from our own home, way too close for my comfort! Amazing nobody got hurt. I will be getting some pics of my own of the aftermath to post.

Serious Business

I gave Adalynn her first non mush food tonight, a banana in her mesh dealy. She was pretty content with it. It was super serious business! I absolutely love her eyebrows, they tell everything she feels!

View

We are really enjoying living out of town. This little guy was hanging out across the street on the hill yesterday. Brandon took this from our front porch.

Made

Adalynn is so different than Taylee and Teagan were when they were itty bitty, mostly she is not. She's quiet the chunk! She isn't quiet five months old and is wearing her 6-12 month clothes, her chunky little thighs barely fit through her Bumbo seat. I think Heavenly Father made her this way so she would be less likely to get hurt by her two yahoot sisters!

Happy Baby

Adalynn does her yoga every morning when she first wakes up, her favorite pose is happy baby!

Fire

Sunday morning we woke up and there was no power in the bathroom, hallway, or girls rooms. Brandon went and flipped the breaker back on. As he did you could hear a very loud current sound. Then immediately we smelt smoke and burning. The girls room was hazy. We called the fire department and they said to get everyone outside to be safe. Teagan was worried about Rosa (her Genia pig) So we moved her from the girls dresser outside. As I glanced at the dresser after she was gone, I noticed the black coming up the wall. This was definitely were the problem was. The fire department trucks came (two of them). When they got there the wall was 120 degrees. They did a few things and made sure there wasn't any other trouble spots. They said we were super lucky it didn't spread or burn anymore than it had. And advised us to get an electrician out asap before we got the power turned back on. The firefighters gave the girls a stuffed animal and a sticker/badge. They thought that was too cool. I called Bishop Eyre to see if he knew anyone that wouldn't charge us too much and be able to come over on a Sunday. He had somebody over within a couple of hours. Brother Powell. He went over things and made them safe for the time being. The trouble was in the outlet itself, it was totally fried. Some insulation was burnt, and just a bit of the wiring. He said we must have been saying our prayers. He is coming back over in the next day or so with his son to finish things up and to patch the drywall hole. I scrubbed a bit of the black off but its not coming off to easy, theres also some of it up on the ceiling above the spot. The smell is still pretty nasty. So I have some clean up ahead of me. I do consider our family blessed that we got away with such little damage with something that could have been disastrous to our home sweet home and sweet little princesses. I thank Heavenly Father for keeping my family, pets, and home safe.
