Can I just Say.... "Yipee!"

I'm so excited about my new job! I was offered a position with Bella Baby Photography. I will be taking pictures of the newborn babies at both of the hospitals here. The job seems like it will have a lot of flexibility. I'm super excited to work with newborns, and to have the time to work on bettering my knowledge and skills in photography. I'm hoping I can learn quick, and do well, and it will be a fantastic opportunity! Wish me luck!

Last Lunch

Teagan requested one last lunch visit before her first grade year was over. I'll take advantage of every opportunity I have to spend a few minutes of school time with her. Someday too soon she will outgrow her want to be so close. Plus its fun to watch her chase the boys at recess!

Thank You Mrs. George

Teagan helped me make Mrs. George this cute vase for a thank you, she also gave her a box of mint meltaways to compli"mint" her on being such a great teacher this year. She's been a nice teacher, Teagan has loved having her.

Taylee's Joy School Graduation

Taylee had her Joy School Graduation last night. There was 6 kids that finished the year completely. The program was short and sweet. I'm very proud of Taylee for being such a great little student! Joy School ended up being a lot of work but in return she got to participate in a lot of really fun things such as going to the fire station, going to the zoo, singing for the retirement home, lots of arts and crafts, Daddy Daughter ice cream night, Halloween fun, Christmas Fun, making a book all about herself, and lots of other fun stuff. I'm thankful for my sweet mother friends who joined me in this adventure to allow her these opportunities!

I'm Positive

I'm positive you test my patience each and every day, I'm positive you can be a stubborn honry girl, I'm positive you test me on purpose continually throughout each day till the very end of each day, I'm positive you are a rascal and a weasel! I'm positive you are beautiful inside and out, I'm positive you have a big heart, I'm positive you will be a success someday, I'm positive you know who you are and what you want, I'm positive you were created to be mine, I'm positive I love you with all my heart and soul!

Jez

Her favorite place to be is right below Adalynn's feet anytime there is a meal she is there, waiting for the inevitable reward!

Bac Bac's

I seriously enjoy our chickens or bac bac's as Adalynn refers to them. My favorite is a little black one named Malificent (after sleeping beauty). She loves to hang around us. At times when we are up on the porch eating dinner or hanging out she will fly up and hang around us. She follows me around the yard at times. Its neat how an ordinary chicken can have a personality.

Reeling Them In

We took the girls to Riverfront Park on Saturday. Had a picnic lunch, fed the ducks, went fishing, and caught a frog! The girls were catching these sunfish quicker than Brandon could release them. Adalynn didn't want a thing to do with the fishing this time as you can see from her clinging tight to Brandon's leg in the one picture. She did reel one in once and then came running to me. She ended up sitting by me eating chips the majority of the time. As for the other two they just didn't want to stop...we have a couple fisher ladies on our hands!

Teagan my T-Rex

I really need a camera to carry in my purse, or a better camera phone because lately all my pictures seem to come off of my phone! Teagan had her spring musical at her school today. The theme was different kinds of wacky dinosaurs. She was a T-Rex who's group did the two-step hence the western wear. She was just fabulous. I don't see how any parent can watch their kid in something like this and not be all smiles. Teagan has been practicing her songs non stop at home, in the car, in the bathroom........I'm super proud of her for all her hard work and in doing such a fantastic job today!

Ronald McDonald House

I took Teagan's Girl Scout troop to the Ronald Mcdonald House. We used some of our cookie money to buy some items they were in need of, and some of the girls went through their toys to donate as well. We had a tour, and shared snacks with some of the residents staying there. It was a great experience. One thing I do like about Girl Scouts is the values it teaches, and the roots its helping to give these girls. Someday they will be the adults volunteering to make their own communities a much better place on a bigger scale, but for now the little differences they make are spectacular!

One Wish

Teagan and I were sitting together talking the other day and she asked me if I had one wish what would it be? I told her that was a hard question, and without hesitation she answered back to me. "I know what mine would be, I would want to be together as a family always". I hope she keeps that wish in her heart always!

Mother

Mom I love and miss you more than ever! I am so thankful for the lessons you were able to teach me while you where here on Earth, and for the ones you continue to teach me from the other side. You have always been an angel and always will be. I am so thankful to be the mother of my three beautiful girls. They have such special spirits, and I am seriously blessed with each moment that I get to spend with them, the easy ones and the hard ones. I want everything wonderful for each of them. I hope they never have to feel awful heartache, or go through dark trials, but if they do, I want them to know I will always love them no matter what, and I will always be their advocate. I cherish my sweet memories of you Mom, and I cherish being able to pass your love to my own children. Happy Mothers day.

Cinco De Mayo

We had a Cinco De Mayo/Mothers Day celebration at our house. We made pinata's the Monday before for FHE. The girls had fun doing it. The whole family was suppose to come over but due to other things coming up for Dana's family it ended up being us and Grandma and Grandpa Moss. We had super yummy Mexican food, including tostadas, chips and dip, guacamole, strawberry limeade slushy drinks, and a Mexican cornbread dish that Grandma Marcia made. Watching the girls beat the heck out of their pinatas was my favorite part of the festivities. What a fun night!
