Newport Aquarium / Family Vacation part 7

We went to the Newport Aquarium and explored all the beauty there. The girls loved every minute of it, so did we. Taylee was in love with the sea stars. They all loved touching the sea life in the exhibit that allowed that. I really liked the jelly fish and sea horses. Adalynn got in a bit of trouble for throwing a sticker in the water where they kept the penguins. And come to find out Brandon told me later that she actually pushed one off of a rock into the water! Little stinker. What a fun place!

The Whale / Crab Adventure / Part 6 Family Vacation

We took the opportunity to go out on a two hour boat tour in search of whale watching, and other sea life viewing. Our boat threw out some crabbing baskets on the way out. We got lucky and saw a whale. I got unlucky and wasn't feeling so hot so I didn't get any great pictures. Taylee was a bit nervous but liked it a lot. Adalynn and Teagan absolutely loved it. On the way back the kids got to pull the crab baskets back in. And the guide let us hold them and check them out if we wanted. Taylee was holding one checking it out and suddenly dropped it on Brandon's lap. It started pinching his lap and he FREAKED out! It scared Adalynn and the other little kiddo's enough to cry, but it was hilarious! The boat tour was great, we got to see see stars, the whales, sea lions, seals, and all kinds of birds. Later that night we were walking downtown by the pier and a couple younger girls started talking to Teagan and Taylee. They said hey isn't your dad "the CRAB guy?". I couldn't help but laugh. Their mom then said "Hey you gotta be famous for something right?" The whole rest of the trip Teagan and Taylee kept teasing him about being the crab guy!

The Fresh Seafood Hole in the Wall Adventure / Family Vacation part 4

We decided to try this joint out for dinner on our first night, and it was DELISH! Who would have known. We got shrimp, stuffed crab shrimp, and prawns. It was all super yummy. They even had some corn dogs for the littles who didn't appreciate the seafood as much as Brandon, Teagan, and I.

Our First Visit to the Ocean / Family Vacation Part 3

The girls wanted to see the ocean, and that we did. What an adventure. We could have spent hours and hours just being there enjoying this beautiful place.
