I am having a hard time getting nine month pictures that I love of this little sweetie. She is sleeping when I get most of the good light. She is so fun and full of looks! She is almost nine months old here. She is loving standing up and pulling herself up onto anything she can. She loves to cuddle and hug. She still smiles at most strangers but has started to have a bit of stranger anxiety to some people. I Love my little Addy!

Field Trip
Teagan went on her first field trip last Friday. She talked and prayed about it non stop for over a week. She was mostly excited to get to ride the bus. They went to a play at the Alberta Bear Theater. She thought the funniest part of the play was the bunny held up his big underwear. Next week they have another field trip to the pumpkin patch.

Mr. Dude
Mr. Dude has spoken, and taken his place as lead rooster. He cracks me up! The girls love him. He has to show his leadership to them at times. The other day he charged Teagan a couple of times. She wasn't sure what to think of it. Its mostly funny because he is so darn small! Pets are so fun. We are loving the chickens.
Too Much Fun
We went out to lunch after the pumpkin patch. They had one of those machines where it has the claw that comes down and grabs (or in most cases doesn't grab) the toy. The girls have loved these lately unfortunately! So I told them they could each have a try. Teagan really wanted the witch. She wouldn't listen to Brandon's help and didn't win. Taylee was patient and listened very carefully on what to do and won the witch first try. Well there would be hell to be had if Teagan didn't at least get another try. So luckily good old dad won a little stuffed candy corn for her after working with her two more tries. Taylee was passed out in her car seat within three minutes of getting in the car.
A real Live Zhu Zhu
We were at Petsmart on Friday getting Rosa a new cage. And of course checking out every single animal they have is always a must on the girls to do. Taylee was peering into the glass checking out all the animals. "Look mom a mouse....look mom another mouse...LOOK! A Zhu Zhu!!!". There was a very small guinea pig that actually did somewhat resemble a Zhu Zhu Pet. Too sweet!
All By Ourselves
Teagan and Taylee were pretty proud of these cupcakes they made "all by themselves". Its always an adventure cooking with young ones in the kitchen. I think their favorite part is always cracking the eggs. I make sure I let them do it in a little bowl then pour it into the mix so we don't end up eating shells. Someday to soon they will be big enough that it won't be such a wonder to them.
Skyhawk Spirit
Every Friday the kids are encouraged to wear their school colors. They want to see "a sea of blue". The week before when Teagan received her certificate in front of her school she refused to wear her new Skyhawk tee because "it is too big and I look funny". Upon returning home she excitedly reported that two of her girlfriends had worn their big Skyhawk shirts and had "tails" tied behind them and that is what she wanted to do next week. I had already tried the tail thing on the side like we use to when we were young. So she happily went in her spirit wear last week with her tail.

Huh?
So today when we were taking off from the house Taylee said "Mom guess what I saw with Dad down there." Pointing down the street a ways. "What?" I replied half listening half running through the things we needed to do in my mind. ".........pooping in a bowl, and it was yellow". Was the end part that I caught. "What pooped in a bowl?" I responded. "Spider man, and he was naked. He was pooping in a bowl and it was yellow". She explained again, and again.
I tried to get her to describe Spider Man but all she could say was he was big like Dad. I tried the best I could to clarify her story to see what in the world she was talking about...or confused about....maybe dreaming about? But that's all the further we got on it as she was getting frustrated that I couldn't understand why the heck Spider man was naked......pooping.........yellow........in a bowl.........down the street from our house! WOW! If it was a dream, or even not I'm thinking I'd like to spend a night in my girls dreams!

Chicketies
I love this picture you can see the little chicks beak sticking out from under her. Its amazing how they bury themselves inside of her. When I picked her up to put them inside they were like stuck up inside her feathers. Very awesome how Heavenly Father builds mothers!
One of our hens Marcia has disappeared only showing herself once or twice in the past four plus weeks. Today when I went out to feed the chickens this is what I found! Four baby chicks. They are so so sweet! I was torn whether to let her continue to mother them or to bring them into the garage under a heat lamp. I decided to go ahead and bring them in as I'm afraid Jezabel would be getting to them otherwise. It was hard to do because I know she has worked so hard sitting on them for so long. She was famished eating like she hadn't seen food forever today. It was also hard because it was so neat to see her mother them. Sorry Marcia, hopefully you will get another chance someday, maybe in the spring? Hopefully the little fellers will do ok!

Special Award
Teagans school holds an assembly every Friday. They honor a student from each class room that the teacher feels has been a positive influence in some way. The student goes in front of the whole school to receive their certificate AND pencil. Teagan received one last Friday. Her certificate states: Independent School Presents this to Teagan Moss for Being a Positive example by: Being such a sweetheart to your classmates. You are very caring and helpful with others in class. Great job working on writing your name with a capital and lower case letters too!
She said her whole class yelled "hip hip hooray! hip hip hooray! hip hip hooray!" She thought that was pretty cool.
Teagan really is a great friend. She looks out to others in need. She is a very caring girl. She is working hard on writing. She seems to constantly have a pencil and paper in hand lately writing whatever words she can. Sounding out a lot of them on her own. Not sure if you can see it or not on the certificate but its got writing all over it. I am so proud of my special sweetie!
Shoulder Shruggn
Adalynn has the most adorable new gesture. She shrugs her one shoulder at you and smiles. Intentionally trying to be cute and sweet. It is seriously one of the most adorable things I've ever seen. This isn't a picture of her doing it, not sure if I'll be able to get one or not. She also has a different shoulder shrug she uses to shy away from strangers, not on the same cute level, but cute as well! She loves her two teeth, she tears through whatever she can with those two suckers!
My Shopper
I had taken this picture on my phone mid summer one of our garage selling days. Teagan and Taylee LOVE going garage selling with me. This picture cracks me up. She is wearing a few of her finds, glasses, helmet, purse, and some silly furry hard dog statue thingy in her arms. I love the things kids find interesting and fun. Its fun seeing their personality in their treasure hunting!
