Shootn

I had the opportunity to shoot an old friends wedding while I was in Sandpoint last month. Another photographer and I teamed up for it so this is a picture she snapped of me. It was such a fun experience and I learned a lot from it, as I do every shoot I am able to get out and do. I've purchased a couple of books and am trying to understand things better so I can better my work. I'm just a beginner and want so badly to be so much better, now not later!
This is my favorite picture I captured of the wedding, I posted a few more on my photo blog.

Daddy Powers

Brandon was giving Teagan a fathers blessing for the beginning of the school year. And of course Adalynn and Taylee had to get in on the action to and have father's blessings as well. When Taylee was saying her prayers that night she said "thank you for daddy powers, daddy powers to make us healthy, and daddy powers to help us do well at school............" I love that she has a feeling of the realness of the Priesthood Power. I wish I could adapt the faith of a child at times in my own life!

First Day of Second Grade

Its here already, such a flash of a summer its unbelievable. Teagan wasn't as excited to start school this year because she misses me during the day. But she was excited that her BFF Zoey was going to be in the same class as her. The night before school started we went to the lake, and out to Dairy Queen to celebrate. I'm excited to see Teagan learn and grow this year!

Threshing Bee

I love this little event! Tons of different tractors, old machines, good food, craft booths, games for the kids including a mini tractor pull. Lots of country fun!

Rodeo

Brandon got some tickets to the Rodeo at the fair Thursday night. It worked out well because we just don't have money to spend on fair-going this year, so it was a nice substitute. The girls enjoyed the barrel racing and rodeo queens the most.

Brandon worked at the energy conference at the fair for his work. He was asked to give a presentation on Sage Grouse. He did a great job on it.

Homeward Bound

Its always an interesting drive to Idaho, especially because most of my trips its just us four girls, needless to say its an adventure. The ride home took especially long this time, 11 hours to be exact. Adalynn decided she was bored and painted her finger and toenails blue with a marker, and colored on her window next to her as well for some added artwork. All in all it was a decent trip there and back though. I am so thankful for our safety. I know someone was there watching out for us on our way over, I felt my mom very strongly at one point during our drive on the way there. Come to find out right after we arrived the first time I went to drive my car the brakes and roters went almost completely out, when I went to go get them fixed I was told my tire treads were so low they were illegal (I knew they were bad just not that bad). The tire store said they had no idea how I drove that far the condition my car was in. So the way home we had new tires, and new brakes, and blue toes. Also I was amazed that although it took 11 hours we hit Billings right as the last bit of light was leaving us and it started to get dark. In my dad's prayer before he left he prayed we would get home before dark, I think that is a small miracle in itself as well!

Grandpa's House

The girls always enjoy spending time with Grandpa Bitton. I love to see them interact with him. The thing they love most about Grandpa's is defiantly his berries. Aside from that its about riding bikes, playing in the field, exploring, and playing with my old toys. Teagan is holding one of my old little ponies I gave her. She calls the hair color "highlight green". I love spending time with Dad. He always takes such good care of me, and it just makes me happy to be close to him.

Besties

How lucky are these two to have such a great friendship? It will be fun to see years down the road how their friendship grows and changes.

Riverfront Park

We spent three hours at this fun place, riding the carousel, feeding the magical goat, playing on the giant wagon playground, splashing around in the spray park, and looking at the ducks and other water creatures in the river. And we were brave enough to stop into to the Valley Mall on our way out to the Children's Place for some quick school shopping for Teagan. Busy fun day for sure!

Riverfront Park Carousel

What fond memories I have of this place when I was little. It was so neat to bring my girls there for there first time this summer. Creating new memories of my own and theirs.

Silverwood

e

Grandpa treated us to a day at Silverwood. We ventured out with our gianormous crew of kiddos and braved a fun day of rides and fun. Kate took the younger 5 home at 7:00 and I stayed with the older 4 so they could do some of the bigger rides. Teagan and India insisted on going on the corkscrew roller coaster, Teagan didn't make a peep while I screamed the entire ride!
